STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

  1. 1. Detailed description of goods and/or services
  2. Smartcore PC is a business in the Electronics industry that sell electronics to the public.

  4. 2. Delivery policy
  5. Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 day (24 Working hours) and delivery confirmed by way of Courier.

  7. 3. Export restriction 
  8. The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.

  10. 4. Return and Refunds policy
  11. The provision of goods and services by Smartcore PC is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Laptops at cost will refund the client in full within 48 Hours, however products advertised on the Store are in physical stock locally with Smartcore PC, unless otherwise stated.
  12. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 15 % administration fee if the order has already been paid in full (managers discretion) . All Warranties unless otherwise stipulated remain with the manufacturer of the product. Any product received by the client after purchase is deemed to be in good working order if Smartcore PC is not notified in writing within 48 working hours of receiving the item.
  13. Any item brought to our attention within the said 48 working hour period will be replaced by Smartcore PCt, if the item is not available or no longer in stock, Laptops at Cost will allow the Client to substitute the item for replacement, the client will have to settle any price difference, however shipping will be covered by Smartcore PC, alternatively Smartcore PC will refund the client.
  14. For any refunds: Item must be returned as originally sent, once received it will be checked by Laptops at cost – Within 48 hours. From there a refund will be processed.

  16. 5. Customer privacy policy
  17. Smartcore PC shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

  20. 6. Payment options accepted
  21. Payment may be made via bank transfer into the Smartcore PC bank account, the details of which will be provided on checkout and on the Tax invoice provided via Email after the order is placed.
  22. Payment can be made by use of Electronic Funds Transfer. A Tax invoice will be emailed to you after payment has been received.

  24. 7. Responsibility
  25. Smartcore PC takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods. However manufacturer warranties lie with the manufacturer of the item.

  28. Images are for illustration purposes only and can vary slightly from the product.

  30. 9. Variation
  31. Smartcore PC may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

  33. 10. Cancellation of Orders
  34. Smartcore PC may, in its sole discretion, Cancel any order placed on the Webstore at any given time (within the 24 hour holding period) should the client or Company placing the order fail to respond to any email or text message sent by Smartcore PC to confirm if the client is going ahead with the order.
